Gillian Anderson to Star as 'Blanche DuBois' in A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE at the Young Vic, Summer 2014

The Daily Mail reports that X-Files star Gillian Anderson will star as 'Blanche DuBois' in the Young Vic's Summer 2014 production of Tennessee Williams' A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE, directed by Benedict Andrews.

"It fell out of the sky. This was Gillian and Benedict working together. They sought each other out, and went through what they'd like to do, and came up with Blanche," the Young Vic's artistic director David Lan told the Mail. "With these two people involved there are going to be fireworks on the stage!"
