Sumatran Orangutan Society Auction

Gillian has donated a signed copy of The Adventures of Oliver Twist from the Centennial Edition of the Complete Works of Charles Dickens.

Published by Heron Books in 1970 to celebrate 100 years after the death of Dickens, the book is bound in green kidron (faux leather) with decorative board and spine, and is beautifully illustrated by George Cruikshank.

This item is being auctioned as part of the Jungle VIP Auction, all proceeds to the Sumatran Orangutan Society (SOS). Sumatran orangutans are critically endangered and could be the first Great Ape species to go extinct unless we act now to save their rainforest home. By bidding you can help SOS in their work to protect orangutans, their forests and their future.
